The metalloid lists in this article have been sorted by year, author and edition. The frequency row gives the appearance count for each element, as a percentage. This figure needs to be manually checked, and updated if needs be, each time there is a new entry or a correction to the main body of the table.
A hashmark (#) next to an element means that its inclusion as a metalloid, in that particular reference, is qualified in some way by the author/s. When adding up the appearance count for each element, a hashmark entry has a value of one-half (½); a blank entry has a value of zero (0); and all other entries have a value of one (1).
